Biography
Born in America, John Glover moved to England with his family when he was 10 years old and has made his home here ever since. He studied Fine Art in London at the prestigious Slade School of Fine Art and, after graduating, pursued a career in Fine Art and teaching. Photography gradually became the medium through which he could best represent his life time interest in landscapes, gardens and plants and, in 1979 he launched his business professionally.
Over the years he has become one of the best known garden photographers with work appearing in books, magazines, calendars and greetings cards published by many companies around the world. In recent years his work has begun winning awards from the Garden Writers Guild in England and The Garden Writers Association in America. The most recent of which is the GWA best garden photography for 2003. |
